The Beagle – Hoxton, London
Dunmore worked with Fabled Studios to create the Beagle restaurant in Hoxton, East London. Located under three railway arches, The Beagle’s design references the industrial age of early locomotives.
A Victorian aesthetic
Throughout the restaurant interior there is use of patinated steel which give a distinct industrial finish. The louvered wall panelling is evocative of early railway carriages, while a Victorian aesthetic can also be seen in the use of silver leaf wired mirrors and railway inspired light fixtures. A sole counterpoint to this raw palate is the bar’s rich green slab of marble countertop.
