Bridie’s — Kilkenny
Bride’s, designed by David Collins Studio in collaboration with Langton’s of Kilkenny, is a contemporary take on a traditional Irish pub with an old-style grocery to the front. Mottled glass saloon doors lead to the bar comprising four individual counters delivering a patchwork aesthetic of pewter tops, marble counters and rustic oak.
Old-world ambience
Bridie’s old-world ambience uses clever detailing such as old-fashioned whiskey cases, gold leaf mirrors and a collection of curiosities and trinkets throughout the bar. Linnen-fold oak panelling and painted rough-brick walls combine to create a warm and relaxing atmosphere that provides a welcome retreat from the world outside.
